Education Possibilities at the University of Metaphysical Sciences
The University of Metaphysical Sciences is a higher education institution that offers bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, Doctorate D.D. degrees and Ph.D. degrees in metaphysics and various metaphysical subjects. The University of Metaphysical Sciences was founded by Christine Breese, who achieved a Doctor of Divinity and Ph.D. in Metaphysical Counseling before opening the school. She also wrote some of the curriculum for the University of Metaphysical Sciences, hired the 40 or so writers who wrote the rest of it, and edited every piece of content that was to be used as curriculum. Christine Breese is a prolific author, meditation facilitator and retreat organizer.
The University of Metaphysical Sciences came about as a result of Christine’s work with the Universal Church of Metaphysics, which she also founded. More than a church, it is actually a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization devoted to educating the public about common metaphysical subjects and ideas. After her work with this community, she decided she wanted to open the University of Metaphysical Sciences to educate reverends for the ministry. In fact, when a student has completed the master’s portion of the University of Metaphysical Sciences curriculum they are automatically ordained through the Universal Church of Metaphysics. She also wanted to educate various students all over the world who could then pursue a career in metaphysical areas.
In order to offer an education to students all over the world, the University of Metaphysical Sciences operates as a distance learning school. The coursework can either be delivered through the traditional mail service or as a download from the Internet. When University of Metaphysical Sciences students download the coursework form the Internet it may consist of PDF files for the written portions, or MP3 files for the audio portions. This includes various meditations that give students a direct opportunity to experience the things being discussed in the classes.
While the University of Metaphysical Sciences is not a traditional school, it provides a comprehensive education that prepares students for a special type of career and spiritual path.
